Who I Am
I'm Author Stacy Finz
I'm an award-winning former newspaper reporter. After twenty years-plus covering notorious serial killers, naked-tractor-driving farmers, fanatical foodies, aging rock stars and weird Western towns, I decided I had enough material to write fiction. I'm the author of the Nugget Romance Series (Kensington/Lyrical Press) about a small mountain town that has a strange way of giving people unexpected reasons to start over --and find the most irresistible chances to fall in love.
In 2012, I won the Daphne du Maurier Award for unpublished single-title mystery/suspense. I live in Berkeley, California with my husband, Jaxon. On the left is a little photo album of me and my family. Some of the pictures were photographed on the Feather River in the real-life inspiration for Nugget.
Look for my new Glory Junction series in 2017.
